The Process

  • This is the handshake that introduces each other. We discuss your needs, challenges, vision, story, project timeline, budget, and overall to see if we’re a good fit. If you need additional services including branded photography and videography, music, or web design, we will solidify all of those details at this meeting.

  • The core of the process is strategy. This is where you and I get clarity on your story, why you exist, what you do, how you do it, and who you do it for. These are the building blocks of your brand, and without knowing these pillars, your aesthetic (or brand identity) has no function.

    This brand strategy will be your roadmap for years to come. It’s built to ensure you have a plan in place for how your brand will live, communicate, and grow, but most importantly, it allows you to adapt down the road.

  • Once we’ve established the foundation of your brand, I then conduct my own market research on your industry, competitors, and target audience. This information helps me dive into your world and understand how your design will function on a user experience level.

    This data will also help me to create a brand system that aligns with your business goals. Whether you’re looking to increase brand awareness, grow sales, or to simply look more cohesive, we’ll make sure your identity system works for you.

  • I start my design process by creating a mood board that’s directly extracted from our brand strategy session. Once we agree on an aesthetic direction, my design process begins.

    If the concept I propose needs a bit of adjusting, we take the time together to polish those finer details to ensure your brand system is exactly on par with your vision.

  • Once we’ve settled on a final concept for your brand system, it’s time to deliver and launch!

    All of your assets will be delivered to you on a private Google Drive for infinite access. Included in the delivery is brand guidelines, logos, alt. logos, color palette, font kit, icons, patterns, packaging, and any other collateral your brand needs.

    From there, it’s off to launching! Time to show your new brand to the world.

  • I only use Canva to help build editable assets for my clients, such as social media templates, slide decks, and business cards.

    In the past it was a hassle to send over PDFs and figure out the best way for my clients to edit them. Canva makes that transition easy for both parties!

    Everything else I design is strictly through Adobe programs.

  • It truly depends on the size of the business and what they’re looking for.

    The average amount of time it takes me to complete Brand Strategy and build a Brand Identity takes about 1-2 months.

    For bigger projects, it could be anywhere from 2-6 months.
